1 Corinthians 13 "[Love] does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out." Understanding that God is good and does not get any pleasure out of evil is an awesome thing! James 1:17 says, "So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow." We can see an amazing truth: good IS God and God IS good.

Another truth is that God isn't changing who he is. He's not good one day and kinda bad another. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." Hebrews 13:8. His consistency allows for even us to get a glimpse into his nature through the scripture and revelation through the Holy Spirit.

Remember to thank God today that he is not happy about evil and that he is goodness itself! We are so blessed to have such an awesome and righteous God!
