Top 10 Christian Influencers Right Now

While we as Christians do not base our entire lives around the words of Christian influencers, there is great value in listening to those around us who consistently express God's glory. After all, much of the New Testament is made up of letters written by Christian leaders with the express purpose of inspiring Christians to operate in new ways or encouraging them to keep going in the right direction. It's not about hearing what big-named people have to say; it's about hearing from God.

In his letter to the church in Corinth, Greece, the Apostle Paul, one of the biggest names in Christianity, explained how he carefully spoke only through the power of God so that his words would have the most impact and would glorify God the most:

And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:1-5 ESV)

While the following Christian influencers are not perfect, I've found that their insight has been consistently God-centered and others-focused. Try following some of them for a few weeks on Twitter or through their blogs and let me know what you think.
