Discussing James 1:5-8
In this video, I discuss the idea of obtaining godly wisdom and its impact on our lives. If we are ever to succeed in our pursuit of an authentic Christian life, we need understanding.
James 1:5-8: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."
Here's what I focused on:
If we want to live like Christ, we need godly wisdom.
We need to know how to maneuver through the various situations we will encounter.
It is up to us to ask for this wisdom; it will not just fall into our heads.
We need to be consistent about asking for wisdom.
Perfect positioning and trajectory in our lives are the product of godly wisdom.
