God Never Fails

1 Corinthians 13:8a "Love never fails." There has never and never will be a point where God fails. It is not in his nature to give up or be incapable of doing something! Glory to God! In Isaiah 55:11, God tells us about how even his words have an impact no matter what, "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." There's no failure in his purpose and his love.

I'm excited that this verse is the way that this particular passage on love is summed up. All of the other attributes of God and love are awesome, but knowing that all of those attributes are eternal makes them even more spectacular! The fact that God will always love good, always be kind, and always seek us out is beautiful to me.

What I'd like to say is expressed very well in 2 Thessalonians 2:16, "Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say."

Let us pray today that our understanding of God's unfailing love will grow and that we will also begin to live that kind of love ourselves!

This is the last of my study on love in Corinthians. I'm going to find something else to go over in the Bible now. If there's anything you'd like me to talk about, feel free to comment and let me know!
